Our award winning graphic design team consists of several outstanding
graphic design artists from around the country. We provide each of
our clients with an initial package of custom graphics as well as the
opportunity to purchase additional graphics.
Graphics created for your
program include:
BANNERS AND ARTICLES
Scoutware banners are full color graphics that appear across the
top of your email message. Similar to letterheads, you have the ability
to highlight different aspects of your program such as current team members,
facilities, campus shots, or pictures from events. We'll work with
you to create these graphics that will showcase your program in the best
possible way to your email recipients.
Articles are another type of graphic
used to enhance your email message. Through Scoutware's free (and unlimited)
training, we'll show you ways to create your own articles to feature
stories about your program such as season victories, recruit signings,
other sports news, or even university news and events. Often times these
articles are actually already created for you as part of your athletic
website or other websites such as ESPN.com. We show you how to capture
these articles, add text or other effects, and upload these images to
your Scoutware site.

DIGITAL SIGNATURES
Each coach or staff member has the opportunity to display a graphic
representation of his/her written signature as part of Scoutware emails.
You can submit an unlimited number of signature variations, which can
be used when composing your emails. For example, if you are sending an
email to recruits, they may know you as 'Coach Johnson,' whereas alumni
or boosters may know you as 'Lucas,' or 'Lucas Johnson.'
Simply send us
your signatures on a blank white piece of paper, and we'll do the work
to scan and clean the images and make them available in your Scoutware
site.
IN LIVING COLOR
Take advantage of the NCAA rules which allow you to send full color
graphics via email. Why keep sending them plain black-and-white emails,
when you can easily impress them with full color graphics that stand out
from the crowd. Don't tell them what life will be like at your school-

Scoutware's whitelist status [link to Scoutware Delivery Advantage]
with all of the major Internet Service Providers (AOL, MSN, Yahoo,
etc), provides the BEST OPPORTUNITY for your email to be delivered and
delivered in format with your images displayed.
All visuals can be created
and loaded into Scoutware for immediate use. Each system is designed
to allow clients to pick and click between a variety of content when
sending out emails so that you can quickly re-use previously created
templates, banners, footers, articles, pictures, etc. These professionally
designed templates are designed to look great on desktop, handheld
wireless, and when forwarded.
CREATING YOUR OWN CONTENT
With Scoutware its easy to create your OWN graphical content to
load into your site and send as part of emails. Every Scoutware license
includes Snag IT [link to www.snagit.com], a screen capture and image
editing program, which can be used to create compelling graphical images.
We
provide extensive training as needed to clients on both how to use
tools already on your computer and third party software (like Snag IT)
to create articles and banners and how to make completely interactive
articles, e-newsletters, and e-camp brochures.
Better yet, if you already
know your way around Photoshop or Publisher, we'll help you apply your
skills to Scoutware for maximum benefit.
Creating content for your emails
can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. We provide many
of our clients with ideas and guidance on ways to highlight every aspect
of their program. Some of the most effective emails are sometimes the
simple ones that tell a story through pictures. Many clients are now
taking several candid pictures of their team and providing the inside
scoop about their program by loading them directly into Scoutware for
email use.
We show our clients how to create content from scratch as well
as how to use the resources available to them. Many programs have the
ability to leverage and reuse existing content that has already been
created for them and can recycle print materials for on-line use. Within
an athletic department, you can even share graphics you create among
programs for an even greater reach!
