
Aurora, IL –October 11, 2006 – Scoutware, the athletic industry leader in e-mail communications and relationship management, attended the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) annual convention held October 7-10 in Sacramento, California.
This year marked the 27th year NACWAA has organized the convention and this year’s event was attended by more than 400 individuals, representing 15 athletic conferences. Convention highlights included a welcome reception, auction, awards presentation and several keynote speakers who presented on topics such as Professional Development, Career Advancement, Networking, Developing Women Leaders, and Television and Media.
Scoutware’s provided an information/demonstration booth during convention hours and and in addition, Scoutware Director of Client Services Amanda Carmichael sat on a discussion panel entitled, “Television and Media.” Alongside ESPN Director of Programming and Acquisitions Carol Stiff and CSTV Executive Vice President of Content, Tim Pernetti, she spoke about how technology is changing communication across the board and steps administrators can take to embrace this change and provide tools such as Scoutware, that allow them to communicate more efficiently and effectively.
