Aurora, IL – January 2008 – Scoutware, the collegiate athletic industry leader in recruiting communications, was a recent attendee and exhibitor at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) convention held January 16-20th in Baltimore, Maryland.
Hailed as one of the largest soccer events in the United States, the convention featured more than 300 exhibitors. As with other leading industry conventions, the Scoutware booth was one of the most trafficked areas, due to the large number of product demonstrations and one-on-one client trainings conducted throughout the course of the convention. At the event, more than twenty-four training sessions were conducted over a three day period, including sessions with Xavier University, George Mason University, West Virginia University, University of Alabama, and Fordham University among several others.
During one of the training sessions, University of Rhode Island Head Coach Zac Shaw commented, “Scoutware has streamlined and simplified our ability to not only communicate with recruits, but also to track them and easily manage our database. Our recruiting has become much more efficient, all while sending out professional, eye catching emails. When I was introduced to Scoutware I was a little bit intimidated by all of its capabilities, but it has been simple to use and an incredibly powerful recruiting tool.”
In addition, Scoutware once again held a private coaches party at a local restaurant/bar, Mother’s, which was attended by more than 150 coaches, representing more than 60 colleges and universities. Scoutware currently works with nearly 120 men’s and women’s soccer programs at the NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA level.
