Aurora, IL – November 2007 – Scoutware, the collegiate
athletic industry leader in recruiting communications, attended the National
Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, held
November 28th - December 1st.
In similar fashion to the American Volleyball Coaches Association convention
held the previous week, Scoutware used its information booth not only
to demonstrate its capabilities to coaches, but to meet with clients and
conduct one-on-one training sessions at the booth or the host hotel. Scoutware
held an average of one training per hour for the duration of the convention.
The event featured a number of clinics, activities and guest speakers
including Carolyn Peck and Michele Smith from ESPN, Olympians Lisa Fernandez
and Cat Osterman, DePaul University Head Coach Eugene Lenti, and legendary
Arizona Head Coach Mike Candrea.
In addition, Scoutware staff members Amanda Carmichael and Will Callanen
were treated to a great social opportunity on the golf course the first
day during the Wilson Golf Scramble and later when Carmichael was a guest
at an invitation only coaches roundtable.
