During the season it is difficult for coaches to balance their on-field responsibilities and recruiting. During the season the Recruiting Coordinator uses Scoutware to touch base with recruits in their system. Through Scoutware emails look like they are coming from the head coach or different recruiting coaches when they are actually all coming from one person. This allows the entire staff to have a lighter work load in season while still making recruits feel important.

A secondary benefit to North Central is their ability to stay in better contact with the admissions department. Each week the coaching staff runs a report of individuals who have expressed interest in their program. This report is then sent over to the admissions office where the information is added to their outreach efforts. Not only has North Central football benefited from a stronger relationship with their admissions department the university is benefiting from the additional leads furnished by football.
